​The characters are starting to reveal themselves to me slowly - their likes and dislikes, fears and traumas, dreams and aspirations. Like all of us, they are lots of stories held together by curiosity.

A word count is a terrible but useful thing. Terrible because it doesn't really reflect the work that happens across time. Useful because it becomes some kind of accountability touchstone. Here it is as of January 2025.
