Before taking a (surprisingly long and possibly permanent) gap year in 2018, I was a Youth Worker. I retrained as a Marriage Celebrant. Along the way, I have lead, worked, or volunteered with groups for mental health recovery, arts for people with disability, social outings for seniors, life story recording in aged care, poetry for gifted teens, school holiday activities in public libraries, literacy assistance in both high school and primary school, library based poetry writing... the list goes on for literal decades. Let's just say that gathering community, especially around words, is what I love to do.

I have had experience working with groups of all kinds, including youth, children, and people with disabilities. Together, we can design and present a writing workshop to fit your needs.

Commissions
Commission a poem for a wedding, memorial, birthday, new baby, historical commemoration, or just because! Or social media content, blog posts, book blurbs, wherever you needs words. I won't write your novel for you; I need to write my own.

Poetry - $1.50 / line (min = $60)
Prose - $300 / up to 800 words
Ellipsis Poetry
Ellipsis Poetry began in August 2024 when Jazz Fechner-Lante and I set out to create an open mic night that we would like to attend. Ellipsis as an entity has grown beyond all expectations and is now central to Adelaide's poetry and spoken word scene.
